This is the statue outside of Tillman Hall, the oldest building in the campus here. It is of Thomas Green Clemson, the founder of Clemson. He is in the same posture as Abraham Lincoln in the Lincoln memorial and it creates a stoic atmosphere for the the presentation of the statue. It gives off a very serious and disciplined tone to its surroundings.
